Berger Swimming Pool Paint has a high degree of impermeability to water and water vapour. It effectively retards the passage of moisture through the film, making it an ideal coating for ponds and swimming pools.

Surface preparation:
- Power wash surface to remove loose material if repainting
- For new pools concrete must be cured and thoroughly dry in depth for at least six weeks. Moisture level less than 15%
- Remove all loose sand, mortar splashes and efflorescence
- Ensure pool has adequate damp proofing behind the wall
- For proper adhesion acid-etch surface with Berger Concrete Etching Solution
- Wash surface with fresh clean water to ensure all un-reacted acid is removed
Application Procedure:
- Apply one coat of Berger Swimming Pool Paint, thinned 20% with Berger No.3 Reducer; allow to dry overnight
- To control cob webbing use 2 coats
- Allow to dry at least 18 hours between coats
- Allow at least seven days drying in optimum conditions prior to filling
Tips:
- Spot-prime any newly repaired areas with paint or where the substrate is showing
- Clean brushes with Berger No. 3 Reducer
